Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as an anchor and reporter for WPDE-TV which was located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. In the following years, she worked as a morning-news anchor and crime report at WCBD TV. Her reporting in Charleston about the police's leniency toward DUI cases led to the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the instances. The Associated Press honored Ms. O'Dell with the Best Report of the Years award in the entirety of South Carolina Media. O'Dell was a reporter and anchor for a time at Charleston working as a journalist, was a anchor at the NBC Miami WTVJ-TV station, before transferring over to Access Hollywood where she is currently a co-anchor and correspondent during weekends. O'Dell in addition to being the lead anchor for Access Hollywood, also appears on NBC News Today as well Dateline NBC. She's reported on The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted several Pre-ShowArrivals Shows in preparation for The Emmys And The Golden Globes. She co-hosted both the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants.
